this hat does.

Printed before you buy, not after you complain. A hat that cannot carry all four lines does not go on sale here.

  • Cracking

    The shaping pad is dense foam and will not crack, but it will take a set if stored under weight.

  • Fading

    The natural bristle brush lightens with use and with washing. It does not affect how it works.

  • Reshaping

    The pad is meant to be pressed against a damp brim. It recovers its own shape overnight; used hot, it does not.

  • Weave gaps

    Not a woven item. The brush is intended for working dust out of the gaps in a braid, following the weave direction.

Care

  • Keep it out of dry heat

    Store away from radiators and out of direct sun; heat marks the cover and sets the foam.

  • Mist, do not soak

    Keep the brush dry between uses; let the shaping pad dry fully before it goes back in the box.

  • Reshaping

    Mist lightly, press flat between two cloths and leave it on a flat surface overnight.

  • Storage

    Store it upside down on its crown, or in a hat box. Never stack anything on the brim.
